I am an award-winning documentary filmmaker whose work has taken me from the Andes Mountains of Peru to a small library in a village outside of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. My last feature film, Thao's Library, screened nationwide in AMC Theaters, qualified for Oscar consideration, had a 2-year Netflix release and was previously sold in Walmart stores.
